Position Description
The Customer Service Agent plays an important role as a first line of support for students and is expected to provide students with assistance regarding general academic advice matters and is the general interface between Student Services Department our customers.
Education and Experience
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of office administration/customer service
- At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar roleDesirable:
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
- Prior experience in Higher Education is preferred
- Experience working successfully with a diverse population of students, faculty, and visitors.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent and demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and with a cool temperament under pressure
- Confidence in negotiating, handling issues and clients requests independently
- Ability to organise, update & distribute information to students and interested parties
